3D printed corporate gifts: what to prepare in advance

Corporate gifts are small presents for customers, partners or employees. With 3D printing they can be made with your own shape and logo from just a few pieces.

These sites have thousands of free models. Download an STL or 3MF and upload it here. If you sell it or use it for business, check the model licence. How to pick a model and licence

What can be given as a gift

Of all gifts, the ones that are practical and personal work best. From 3D printing these are for example phone stands, desk organisers, coasters, pendants, small models of a building or a product, or Christmas decorations. It is usually a small run that you order for a specific date.

Lead time and delivery

With gifts the deadline matters most. You see the lead time when you upload the model, and it is based on how busy the printers are and how many pieces fit on the bed. See lead time. We ship to Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Austria and Germany.

Allow some margin: payment of the proforma invoice has to arrive before production starts, and the lead time can only be shortened if capacity is free.

For gifts for several people, think about where the parcel will be delivered. If you want to send gifts to several countries, order separately by destination country. We photograph every batch before dispatch, so you know what is coming.

Design that pays off

  • One or two colours. The fewer colour changes, the lower the price. For more, send a 3MF.
  • Chunkier shapes. A logo with fine details under 1 mm gets lost.
  • A test piece. Order one to try and only then the whole run, especially if the shape is untested.
  • Material. PLA looks good and is cheap, PETG is more resistant to heat and impact.

Also remember packaging and extras. We do not supply boxes, ribbons or glue, only the printed item. We leave the surface untreated, visible layers are normal for this kind of printing.

Invoicing for companies and licences

Payment is by proforma invoice with a QR code. If you are a company from another EU country with a valid VAT number, the invoice goes out without VAT, explained in the entry on the reverse charge.

If the model comes from the internet, check the licence. Models with BY-NC must not be used commercially, and a gift with a company logo usually counts as commercial use. We do not check licences.

Common questions

How much time do I need for corporate gifts?

You see the lead time right after uploading the model. It depends on the quantity and how busy the printers are, so do not leave ordering to the last minute.

Can I get an invoice made out to a company?

Yes, a proforma invoice with a QR code. Companies from other EU countries with a valid VAT number receive an invoice without VAT.

Can you print our logo on a gift?

Yes. If you have a finished 3D model or a 3MF with colours, upload it and you see the price at once. If you only have a logo, send it to jakub.novak@boostello.com and we will design a model from it.
